Hi, I’m Gladis! I’m traveling around the world to discover off-the-beaten paths, try exciting local adventures, and immerse myself in mindful activities.

In the process, I share my stories and tips so you too can experience happiness on the way.

You are exactly where you are supposed to be.It You are exactly where you are supposed to be.It doesn’t mean you’ll stay here forever.
It doesn’t mean you’re supposed to be complacent and won’t grow.It means you pause once in awhile and appreciate where you are. You’ve grown so much. You can be grateful and grow. What are you grateful about where are you now? 👇🏻
Almost two years since I went back to solo traveli Almost two years since I went back to solo traveling.Sleeping in basic houses, taking public transport, eating local foods, taking walks, working on my laptop in cafes. No more big “shoulds” and “must dos” deadlines —
No more endless consumptions and wanting—
Or constantly worrying about the future.I still do sometimes but it’s becoming less and less. 🧘🏻‍♀️I’m present in most days.
Gazing at the leaves dancing on trees.
Looking at kids playing.
Feeling the air touching my skin.
Waking up before the sunrise. As it turns out —
I like this “little” life.

Officially a yoga teacher! 🧘🏻‍♀️🙏🏻I’m in deep gratitude on how perfect my training went. I wouldn’t want it any other way. It’s tough. Really. Waking up every day at 5am. Yoga asanas 2x a day. My body and mind came out tougher. 💪🏻It’s deep. It’s humbling to know that I have a lot to learn about yoga. How it started, what is it really and how it evolved. I came out with deep appreciation of this practice 🫶It’s fun. Oh yeah, yoga (and spirituality in general) is fun. It’s play. If you see me in class laughing on a pose it’s more likely a joke from @mayanku__yogaMy 200Hr YRT brought me lots of joy and growth.I was in flow.
I was present.
I persevered.
I surrendered.
I let go.
I let come.
I’m in bliss.I’m excited to share everything I learned as I unfold my yoga teacher chapter in my life especially at @happinessexperiments . May I be part of the collective rise of human happiness and consciousness 🫶Thank you so much to @houseofom.bali , @mayanku__yoga @georgiaveronicatalcott @chetanyogi67 @sinaholzerland @ash_bowcock and to my Shiva-Shakti group.I had an amazing YTT and wouldn’t want it any other way 🫶 #yogateacher #yttbali
Will you persevere or surrender? This has been th Will you persevere or surrender? This has been the recurring theme of my 200-Hr YTT (and to be honest, life in general 😉)We wake up every single day at 5am,
take 1.5 hours hatha/vinyasa/ashtanga class every morning followed by philosophy, anatomy and breath work classes from noon ‘till evenings.Oh and emotional and energetic releases every now and then with meditation and heart ceremonies! (And if we’re lucky 200 steps 6x 🦵)And in each pose, class and breath — there’s that “struggle”- should I push more?
- should I surrender? And now that this beautiful experience is coming to an end—I learned that there are NO “SHOULDS”.Both are needed.

And surrender when it’s time. When it’s beyond your control. And remember, it’s a dance. It’s a never ending learning process of discernment.Tune in into the moment.
You’ll know whether it’s EFFORT or SURRENDER 💪🏻🙏🏻
